Meet The Team: Finance Manager, Cat

This week, in the latest in our series of Meet the Team blogs, where we find out more about the members of Team SpaceVac, we caught up with our Finance Manager Cat…

Name: Cathrine Howe

Title: Finance Manager

How long have you worked at SpaceVac for? I’ve now been here for about 7 months

What did you do before working here? Before working here I was a full time mum for a little while, but as my family grew a little older I was excited to get back to a challenge and SpaceVac provided exactly that!

What does your role look like Day to day? I look after the financial aspects of the business. So paying suppliers, raising invoices to customers both,  dealing with queries from customers and suppliers, whilst building good business relationships with them. Allocating  payments received, chasing outstanding payments from customers, statutory Inland Revenue returns, various ad-hoc projects as requested.

Its quite a broad church and a role that keeps me pretty busy each day!

Whats your favourite thing about your job? I think my favourite thing would probably be the variety and working with a great team of people within the business.

What do you like to do outside of work:S When Im not hard at work here at he office, I like to spend time with family and friends and also attend as many live concerts as I can.
