SpaceVac International and its group entities are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chains. Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, including slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which involve the deprivation of a person’s liberty for personal or commercial gain.
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We are committed to implementing appropriate systems and controls to help ensure that modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within our business or supply chains.
Our Business
SpaceVac International designs, manufactures and supplies specialist high-reach cleaning and vacuum systems for commercial and industrial applications. Our operations are based in the UK and are supported by a network of suppliers, contractors and business partners in the UK and overseas.
Our Commitment
We are committed to ensuring transparency in our business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains, consistent with the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We expect the same high standards from all contractors, suppliers and business partners. As part of our approach to working with suppliers, we seek to ensure that forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude — whether adults or children — has no place within our supply chains. We expect our suppliers to uphold these principles within their own operations and supply networks.
Although SpaceVac International is not currently legally required to publish a statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we do so voluntarily as part of our commitment to ethical and responsible business practices.
Supply Chain Awareness & Risk
We recognise that the risk of modern slavery is more likely to arise within extended supply chains rather than our direct operations. We take a proportionate, risk-based approach to managing our supply chain and seek to work with reputable suppliers and partners who share our commitment to ethical working practices and compliance with applicable laws.
Governance & Responsibility
Responsibility for ensuring that this commitment is upheld sits with senior management at SpaceVac International. We maintain internal policies and procedures that support ethical conduct, responsible sourcing and compliance with legal and ethical obligations across our business.
Review
This statement is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains appropriate as our business operations and supply chains evolve.
