SpaceVac’s manufacturing facility has achieved IECEx certification, marking an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to the highest global standards for equipment used in hazardous environments.

IECEx (IEC System for Certification to Standards Relating to Equipment for Use in Explosive Atmospheres) is an internationally recognised certification scheme that verifies both technical compliance and the robustness of manufacturing processes for equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres.

What IECEx Certification Covers

IECEx certification goes beyond individual product performance. It independently assesses the manufacturing facility and its processes, ensuring that certified products are produced consistently and in accordance with stringent international requirements.

For SpaceVac, this certification verifies key elements of our manufacturing operation, including quality management and control procedures, manufacturing and assembly processes, batch and sample testing regimes, and traceability and consistency of production.

 SpaceVac systems are certified for use across all gas zones (0, 1 and 2) and all dust zones (20, 21 and 22) when paired with the appropriate certified vacuum.
