The SpaceVac ATEX Lite system is designed as an entry-level solution for operators working in combustible dust environments who require safe overhead cleaning without the need for maximum reach systems.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the system provides certified performance for maintenance teams carrying out occasional high-level cleaning tasks in hazardous environments. The lightweight 38mm conductive carbon fibre poles provide excellent operator control while maintaining full ATEX compliance for combustible dust environments.

US Specification: For customers requiring the US version, ATEX poles are manufactured with a dual locking-hole design to meet US specifications and ensure compatibility with US pole systems.

  • US: Titan 1 (110v), Titan 2 (US), Mercury 2 (110v)

The SpaceVac ATEX Lite system provides a standard working height of up to 4.75m (15ft) from ground level. For applications requiring additional reach, the system can be extended with extra poles to achieve working heights of up to 7.25m (24ft).

The ATEX Lite system is designed for use in environments where combustible dust may be present and where regular high-level cleaning is required to reduce dust accumulation on elevated surfaces.

Typical applications include food manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical production environments, grain handling operations, chemical processing plants, powder handling facilities and other industrial workplaces operating within ATEX-classified areas.

The system is designed for the safe removal of dust and debris from elevated surfaces including:

Yes. The ATEX Lite system was specifically developed as an introductory ATEX cleaning solution for facilities with occasional high-level cleaning requirements. It offers a lightweight, easy-to-use system for maintenance teams that do not require the reach of larger industrial ATEX systems.

The ATEX Lite poles are manufactured from 100% conductive carbon fibre, allowing static charges to dissipate safely during operation while providing excellent strength, rigidity and operator control.

In combustible dust environments, controlling static electricity is critical. The conductive carbon fibre construction allows static charges to dissipate safely through the system, helping support safe cleaning practices in hazardous areas while maintaining lightweight handling characteristics.

The ATEX Lite system should be used with an appropriately ATEX-certified industrial vacuum suitable for the hazardous area classification. SpaceVac commonly recommends compatible ATEX vacuum systems such as the TITAN ATEX and Mercury ACD ranges.
