SpaceVac demo in Brazil

This week on the blog, our Global Sales Director Grant has penned an update for us on his recent travels to South America to support our new partners on the ground there.

Well my trip to South America didn’t get off to the best of starts with storms meaning our flight to Brazil was turned away from three airports before we finally landed; some 9 hours and 2 flights away from where I was supposed to be hooking up with the team at Brasmo.

After a scenic detour the next morning, I had a fantastic week with our new Brazilian partners as I spent time with the whole team during the course of the week. These support visits are a great opportunity for me to work with the team – not only delivering training, demos and lots of product support to the sales team, but also working with Sales and Marketing managers to help shape sales strategies to bring SpaceVac to market in these countries as well.

Its always really exciting to see lots of new uses and places to put our high-level cleaning system to the test!

At the end of a very busy week in Brazil, we took a short flight to Colombia to spend a week working at the Feria Internacional in Bogota with our new Colombian colleagues at Tecnovap Latin America.

The show was a huge affair with some 6 huge exhibition halls full of the latest in technological innovation. With such stiff and varied competition, our distributor Tecnovap was thrilled to be presented with an award for Innovative Exhibitor as judges fell in love with the range of innovations on offer – including the SpaceVac system which was being introduced to the Colombian market for the first time.

Indeed come the end of the week – we didn’t have a single SpaceVac brochure left on the stand!

It was an extremely busy week and one that points to a very successful first year working here in South America.

From here – I’ve lots of travel in the diary for the coming months as our Export operation continues to grow – be sure to connect with me on Twitter to make sure you don’t miss an update!
