Going the Extra Mile

This week on the blog, we’ve handed the keys to Dean from our demonstration team to talk about a fragrant trip to a bakery he had last week to deliver a van full of SpaceVacs!

One of the things I really like about my role here at SpaceVac is that working in the demonstrations and training team, I get the chance to visit a really wide range of places and people – even just recently we’ve done demos at Football stadiums, Royal residences and most recently – a huge bakery facility in Oxfordshire.

As well as the demonstrations though, I’m also responsible for delivering customers new systems to them and delivering training for our customers  onsite – it was this that bought me to a large bakery in Oxfordshire last week who were taking delivery of two new ATEX cleaning systems.

Our ATEX range has proven really popular this year with customers in the Food and Drink market, as quite often they will have ATEX certified areas on their sites in the shape of large storage silos and the like.

We believe customer service is critical to our success and so offering onsite training packages when we deliver our systems is really important as it enables us to make sure that our customers are getting the most out of their system from day one.

Further, high-level cleaning – even with a system as light as this one – is a specialist skill and one that needs to be done carefully to ensure the safety of operators and people working in the vicinity. By taking the time to help the team onsite get to grips with the system, we can make sure everyone is comfortable with the safe and correct usage of the SpaceVac machine and users can ask any questions they might have.

Our customers seem to get a lot from the training they receive and as we watched the system in action last week, cleaning around a large bread conveyor belt above us, the team seemed very happy with their new purchases!

Until next time!
