In addition to the risk of explosion that comes with build-ups of combustible dust, Lantmannen Bakeries faced a dual problem with this resulting build up of dust providing a food source for nesting pests. Previous cleaning work required extensive shutdown periods and expensive access equipment – all of which was still leaving the facility 40% uncleaned.

Solution:

By introducing SpaceVac, the team onsite were now able to access and clean 100% of the facility from the safety of the ground floor – removing pests and the waste material without the need for expensive access equipment. In turn, the increased speed of cleaning meant that cleaning work is now completed in a fraction of time, minimising the amount of downtime required onsite.
