Spanning 86,000m² across eight buildings, the Kunsthistorisches Museum welcomes over 1.7 million visitors annually-generating significant high-level dust. Despite using ten elevating platforms, many areas remained unreachable due to showcases or structural obstructions. The in-house cleaning team needed a solution to reach intricate stucco work, cornices, and display areas safely, without compromising priceless artefacts or daily operations.
High-level dust across vast, delicate areas was difficult to access, even with elevating platforms, limiting cleaning reach and efficiency.

Solution:
After a successful demo in Vienna, SpaceVac was adopted to support regular high-level cleaning at the museum. Staff could now reach every part of the ornate interior without relying solely on platforms. This increased efficiency, improved safety, and reduced physical strain, all while preserving delicate spaces. The system has become a vital tool in maintaining world-class standards at the KHM.
