Advanced Composites Engineering (ACE), our UK-based manufacturing facility, has been recognised in the 2025 Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 an annual ranking of the regions fastest-growing, independently owned businesses.

Launched in 1998 by law firm Ward Hadaway, the Fastest 50 celebrates the fifty privately owned, profitable companies across the North achieving the highest average annual turnover growth, with category and overall winners announced at an awards ceremony in Newcastle.

ACE – who manufacture all of SpaceVacs reach cleaning poles, secured an impressive 3rd place in the Smaller Business category 7th overall, highlighting both the company sustained growth and its expanding reputation for excellence in the design and manufacture of high-performance carbon fibre and composite tubing. Driven by impressive growth across the SpaceVac group, the team scaled production throughout the year to match increasing demand from a number of key sectors for SpaceVac including food & drink, logistics and the manufacturing sectors.

From its base in Cramlington, ACE serves sectors including?aerospace, defence, automotive, and industrial manufacturing, delivering bespoke, precision-engineered components that meet the most demanding technical specifications.

The recognition comes amid a strong year for the company, which has continued to invest in people, processes, and advanced manufacturing technology. ACEs expertise spans everything from ultra-thin, roll-wrapped carbon tubing for precision applications to heavy-duty composite sections used in motorsport and defence environments. Its team combines decades of practical composites experience with an application-led engineering approach that supports customers from concept to production.
