Canada has an "NTRL" scheme which applies to Haz-Loc products following the CE code

North America has an "NRTL" scheme which applies to Haz-Loc products following nec 500-505

South America has many national schemes including: Brazil: InMetro, Colombia, RETIE, IECEx is also widely accepted

South Africa has IA/SANS There is no pan-african scheme, with IECEx widely accepted.

The Middle East has many national schemes including: UAE: ECAS Ex, Saudi Arabia; SASO IECEx is also widely accepted

Australia and New Zealand - Members of the IECEx scheme

Asia has many national schemes including: China: CCC, Taiwan: Ts, Korea: KCS, India: CCOE/PESO

Europe consists of 27 EU member countries. Requires mandatory ATEX certification. ATEX also accepted in the UK.

Eurasian Economic Union - Consists of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan and requires EAC certification
